Q. I am a complete beginner, can I still do this course?
A. Yes, we include all the relevant certifications and practical training for you to go from zero experience, to offering laser treatments to your clients
Q. Do I need a VTCT level 5 to offer Laser?
A. There are currently no legal official regulations for any specific qualifications or licensing. The main criteria for offering laser comes from insurers (since there are currently no official regulations or council licensing guidelines) insurers typically require; level 3 anatomy and physiology, core of knowledge and a laser appropriate certification and training. Which we can provide you with.
There maybe something coming into place at some point in the future, which may be similar to licensing for tattooing/PMU etc – However we teach you all the safety regulations that are based on what insurers advise, therefore you'd have everything in place if changes where to come into affect.
There may be a requirement for a specific certification with a particular awarding body i.e VTCT, this course is accredited with CPD and you'd be gaining a CPD qualification.
Our LPA (laser protection advisor) advises us that the laser industry won’t be changing until at least 2030, as everything is focused on the aesthetics world currently. so we don’t feel it’s appropriate to be selling something that isn’t certain to be needed at this point in time, especially when the cost of level 4&5 VTCT is £3500 alone without a machine or practical training.
If the time comes that this is a requirement then we will change our training, to align with the regulations and offer our students support, so that they are also compliant. More than likely if any strict policies came into place in a couple of years, you’d be able to continue based on ‘grandfather rights’ which is your experience in the treatment at that point and/or possibly upgrade your certificate to something like a level 5 at that time, if its made a requirement.
Q. Why are your courses inc. machine so affordable compared to others?
A. I’m sure you’ve found through research that laser machines/courses vary wildly in cost, with alot of it depending on how many treatments the machine offers, but a main factor is the brand of the machine – as they mark up the cost to make profits off the course.
Why are our machines so affordable? We now have our own brand and have worked with our LPA extensively to source machines that are safety compliant, high spec and very effective in results and more importantly; we decide to forward the savings on to our clients rather than marking up the cost.
We believe that everyone should have access to training and machines that don’t break the bank. The machines included are fully UK CE certified

This is a one day classroom course, which includes machine and home study and we'll equip you with a comprehensive pre course study and core of knowledge guides. You'll work on multiple live models whilst on your training. We'll also be including your very own machine for you to take home. The machine is a ND Yag Q SwitchI’ve not only included a Laser Tattoo Removal in the course curriculum, I’ve added comprehensive sections on PMU colour theory, choosing the correct pigment shade, pigment composition, and when to choose saline tattoo removal as an alternative, or with laser. I’m giving you a thorough, more in-depth understanding of PMU colour science in this guide.
